Tony Battistella

I just reread the story in Model Railroader March, 1986. I was wondering how you had extended the railroad. Experiencing the train ride was very enjoyable.

Your Tall Pine Railroad model layout is incredible - the best I have seen in many, many years. I was a fan of model railroads as a body and your attention to detail reminds me of the late Jack Work, a modeler who wrote many articles for Model Railroader magazine. Thanks for sharing your dream.

I have seen every article that has appeared in Model Railroader regarding your layout. It is a true work of art, and quite inspirational as well. Thank you for the website, and the opportunity to view the beauty in the clsoe-up photos. If I ever had the chance to come to Italy, I would love to see it in person, and likewise, if you were ever in Chicago, and I have anything done to my layout worth looking at, you would be more than welcome to see it, and join an operating session.

Hi - I am rebuilding my layout to a shelf and two large areas at the North and South ends for towns and industrial areas. I hope to have it in full operation in three months. Right now I am building turnouts for the yard. The yard has an arrival & departure track the is 15 feet long. With three long yard tracks for building trains. You were my inspiration, Thanks, I know it will be fun to operate.

A Realy Impresive Model Railroad Definitly A Prize Winner
2008-02-22 08:01:56 Sig.
